Sandra Council Mock, 85, of Tallahassee, passed away on Oct. 22. She was born on April 3, 1938, in Crawfordville. Sandra was a strong, independent, and family-oriented woman. She was known for her love and dedication to her loved ones, always putting family first. She was preceded in death by the love of her life, her husband, Billy A. Mock, and her siblings Sonny, Pappy, Dennis, Diane, and Sue. Sandra is survived by her daughter, Sandee Gesling; son-in-law, Fred Gesling; and her granddaughters, Dana Bloodworth (Tony Bloodworth), Amber Gavins (James Gavins, III); and great-grandchildren, Dane Bloodworth, Mack Bloodworth, Marlayna Gavins, Hadley Gavins, and Lainey Gavins. Sandra was also blessed with many nieces and nephews. In her free time, Sandra enjoyed bird watching, traveling, spending quality time with her poodle Bella, going antique shopping, indulging in reading, and cherishing moments with her family. Her hobbies brought her joy and allowed her to create lasting memories with those she loved most. The funeral service for Sandra Council Mock will be arranged by Culley's MeadowWood Funeral Home, located in Tallahassee, Florida. The funeral home will provide the necessary support and assistance during this difficult time. Sandra Council Mock will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Her legacy of love, strength, and devotion to family will forever be cherished in their hearts. Funeral Services were held at Culley's MeadowWood Funeral Home, 700 Timberlane Road, in Tallahassee, Florida. In Lieu of flowers please donate to the American Cancer Society in her honor.
