A friend told me about Mike some years ago at a difficult time, and he and I exchanged notes briefly. I learned of his passing just recently while in the presence of many who love him and cherish him dearly. Mike is love and light to them--and though this is a fantastic group of people who care about the many beyond their 'ranks,' I always felt Mike was joyously celebrated as the greatest angel -- in life -- that I ever heard them exclaim. Mike left a permanent impression on both people he knew and those who barely got to know him. He will both be present and remembered--someone like that never really leaves. I am sorry for your loss.
