Cindy Syren Obituary
Cindy worked in HBTS with The Frank Olean Center for many years.
In addition to her husband and parents, she leaves two children, Shawn Salimeno and wife, Melissa of Orlando, FL and Nicole Boss and her husband, Josh of Groton, CT; four siblings, Steven Walsh and Jeffrey Walsh, both of Florida, and Michael Walsh and Shelly Walsh, both of New Hampshire; one grandchild, Gaige Boss of Groton and several nieces and nephews.
Visiting hours are omitted. Funeral service and burial will be private. Gaffney-Dolan Funeral Home, 59 Spruce St., Westerly is in charge of the arrangements. For online condolences, please visit www.gaffneydolanfuneralhome.com

I first met Cindy so many years ago at Lamaze class. I was lucky enough to meet up with her again while working at the Olean Center. She was always a burst of energy and so much fun to be around!! I haven't seen her in a couple of years but by all the comments, she sounds like she was as wonderful as ever. I am so sorry to hear of her passing. Prayers to all of you. Godspeed Cindy. Fly with the Angels!

I was sorry to read of Cindy's passing. I work with her some years ago for a brief time but I really enjoyed spending that time with her. I called her Cindy Loo Who.. she had a good sense of humor. I am sorry for you all.

Dave,Shawn and Nicole, I am so sorry for your loss. I am in shock although, cindy came to me in January to tell me, it still is a shock. She was part of our family for many years and did alot to help my son Brandon when she worked with the olean center. My heart and prayers are with your family. We loved her like part of the family.

To Nicole and shawn and the rest of your family I'm so deeply sorry for your lost. I didn't have the chance to share a lot of time with Cindy but I can honestly say that the times that I did she showed me what a big heart she had always so friendly and so welcoming she made me feel like I knew her all of my life I will always remember her and will always keep her and your family in my prayers especially during this tough time

Dear Linda, Shawn & Family members,
I am so sorry to hear about Cindy's passing. There aren't words to express the sadness. It seems as though it was just yesterday when we were kids playing in the fish hatchery. May we all remember Cindy's brilliant smile & fiestyness. I know she will be missed by all.
