Donna Church Obituary

Donna J. Church

Donna J. Church, age 70, passed away on Saturday, September 21, 2024. She is survived by her husband of fifty years, Michael W. Church, her two children, Christine Chisholm, and her husband Brett, and Chad Church and his wife Nicola, three grandchildren Braden, Michaela, and Connor Chisholm, as well as her siblings, Donald Tefft, Denice Senior and Dorene Morison. Donna was the daughter of the late Leslie and Bernice Tefft. She is also predeceased by her siblings, Ronald and Dennis Tefft. She cherished family and her close friendships with Sue Kettlety and Kathy Falcone.

Donna's strong work ethic emerged early growing up

on a dairy farm. She was loyal and driven, and her dedication to hard work defined her throughout her life. She retired from Pfizer in 2021. Donna loved children and animals, nurturing both with patience and love. Some of her grandchildren's favorite memories include infamous scavenger hunts, which included clues around her house for an ultimate prize. Another memory included painting and decorating rooms together; she loved looking at interior decorating magazines and always had a surplus of ideas. She enjoyed spending time outdoors bicycling, swimming and coming up with fun ideas, especially during snow season, in which she would tow her grandchildren on sleds from the back of an ATV, for a sleigh ride. She had an amazing smile, gorgeous green eyes and was the most beautiful, photogenic person.

Funeral arrangements are private. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to CCALS P.O. Box 1052, West Falmouth, MA 02574.
