Edwina D. Kellers, 74 of Main St. Hope Valley, formerly of Quonochontaug, died peacefully surrounded by her loving children, on Thursday January 6, 2022 after a brief illness. She was the beloved wife of the late Albert C. Kellers.
Born in South Kingstown, RI on August 17, 1947 she was the daughter of the late Arthur H. and Jean (Foster) Kenyon.
Edwina was a dedicated employee at Walmart in Westerly in the Customer Service Department for over 25 years. She was a loyal and talented Organist at the Grace Methodists Church in Westerly for many years as well as several other local churches in the area,
Mrs. Kellers along with her husband Al were Leaders and role models for Cub Scouts and Boy Scout Troop 15 in Charlestown, RI and had received the prestigious Silver Beaver Award for Scouting.
Edwina was the devoted and loving mother of A. Carl Kellers Jr. and his wife Cathy and their daughter Samantha of Charlestown, Deborah L. Martin and husband Richard and their son Joshua of Charlestown, and Jill Davis and husband James and their son Jacob of Mystic.
She was predeceased by his grandson, Anthony Patrick Martin.
The Kellers family will greet relatives and friends on Thursday January 13, 2022 from 4-7 PM at the Buckler-Johnston Funeral Home, 121 Main St. Westerly, RI. Funeral service will be held on Friday at 10:00 AM at the Grace Methodists Church, 10 Park Ave, Westerly, RI. Burial will follow in Elm Grove Cemetery, Mystic, CT.
In lieu of flowers donations in Edwina's memory may be made to Habitat for Humanity, Ronald McDonald House or Stand Up for Animals in Westerly, RI.
