Eugenia Albamonti Obituary
Born in Milford, Mass., she was the daughter of the late Frank and Teresa Abbiati.
Nina worked in the Baby Department with McCormick's Department Store for many years. She was a communicant of Immaculate Conception Church and enjoyed cooking and baking for family and friends.
She will be dearly missed by her son, Thomas P. Albamonti, Sr. and his wife Shirley of Westerly, and daughter Nina Z. Albamonti of Stratford, CT, as well as, eight grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren.
Family and friends will be received at visiting hours on Tuesday from 4-7 p.m., in Gaffney-Dolan Funeral Home, 59 Spruce St., Westerly. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, at 11 a.m., in Immaculate Conception Church, Westerly. There is no procession from the funeral home to church. Burial will follow at St. Sebastian Cemetery, Westerly. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Vincent de Paul Society, c/o Immaculate Conception Church, 111 High St., Westerly, R.I. 02891, in Nina's memory. As I am preparing to attend mass for Mrs. Albamonti this morning, my heart is filled with wonderful memories of high school years. Her presence in my life will always be held warmly in my heart. Dear Tom, Shirley and family,
I just read the paper and saw that your mom passed away I am so sorry. Losing someone you love has got to be the most horrible feeling in the world and I pray that Jehovah gives you strength to cope with such a deep loss.
You all took such wonderful care of her, she knows you loved her very much.

I am very sorry for your loss. It is great that she has such a loving family to be remembered by. Something that has been of great comfort to me is the promise that soon "death will be no more, neither will mourning, nor outcry, nor pain be anymore..." I hope all the family and friends of Mrs. Albamonti can take some comfort from this promise as I have.

She was truly an amazing lady. I will always remember walking home from McCormick's, beautifully dressed and always having a smile on her face. My heartfelt sympathies goes out to the entire Albamonti Family.
