Jasmine DeVine Obituary

Jasmine DeVine, of Richmond, RI died on September 12 at South County Hospital. Jasmine was born in Middletown, RI on Dec 1 1980. She attended Chariho High School, and collected many certifications throughout her life. She was a gifted artist in many mediums, always endeavoring to explore new art forms. Throughout her life she worked as a vet tech, took on multiple healthcare roles, and dedicated many years to social work. Jazz loved frogs, and blue glass with an intensity that made her easy to buy gifts for. In a life so short she leaves much behind. Now at peace, the beauty and love she created and inspired remain in our hearts. She is survived by her husband, Steven, her children Jon, Jenna, and Jayden, two grandchildren Riley and Kaydance, her mother Judie, stepfather Andrew, father John, and siblings Josh, Blue, and Nyssa.

I lived across the street and grew up with Jas, and sometimes it was like eating too much chocolate you took the good with the bad. She along with many others are considered adopted sisters to add to my 3 blood sisters, and Jas will always hold that place in my heart! You will 4ever be missed sweetheart!

Jasmine, you had a beautiful soul. God took you home too soon.
May your light and love shine down for your children and family and guide them through this life. Until we meet again.
