Jean M. Richard

Jean M. (Pizzuti) Richard, 82, passed away Thursday, February 27, 2019. She was the wife of the late Donald C. Richard. Born in Providence she was a daughter of the late Anthony and Mary "Regina" (Clark) Pizzuti. Mrs. Richard lived in the Harmony section of Glocester for 40 years before moving to Smithfield in 2010. She was a secretary for the Providence School Department for over 20 years before retiring in August 1995. She was a member of the Narraganset Bay Quilters Association and also enjoyed bowling and dancing.
She was the beloved mother of Patricia A. Ciarlo, of Hope, RI, Richard A. Springob of Grafton, MA and Susan J. Staniorski of Warwick. She was the step-mother of Cathy Richard of Warwick, Peter Richard of Tennessee and Donald Richard of Warwick. She was the sister of Marianne McGregor, the grandmother of 9 and great-grandmother of 3.
Her funeral will be held Tuesday, March 5, 2019 at 8:30am from the TUCKER-QUINN Funeral Chapel, 643 Putnam Ave., (Rt. 44), Greenville, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30am in St. Philip Church, 622 Putnam Ave., Greenville. Burial will be in Highland Memorial Park, Johnston. Visitation Monday, March 4, 2019 from 5-7pm. In lieu of flowers, donations to Alzheimer's Association, 245 Waterman Street, Ste. 306, Providence, RI 02906 will be appreciated.
