John Holt Obituary
He was born in Winfield, Kansas to the late Daniel E. and June Holt.
John worked in Electrical Design for Electric Boat (EB), retiring after 46 years. Prior to EB, he proudly served as a submariner in the US Navy for four years.
Above all, John treasured his family and loved spending time with them. He will be deeply missed by his wife Sue; sister-in-law Paula J. Moran; his two beloved nieces, whom he raised as his own, Sarah Iadarola (Matthew) and Amy Ryan (Tim), and their children, Vincent Iadarola, and Abigail, and Ellen Ryan; his sister Jody Bracken of Pawhuska, OK; and his Maltese, Molly.
John was predeceased by his sister Velda McGinn, and brother Donald Holt.
Visiting hours are omitted. A private funeral service and burial with Full Military Honors will be held at the convenience of the family. Gaffney-Dolan Funeral Home, 59 Spruce St., Westerly is in charge of the arrangements. For online condolences please visit www.gaffneydolanfuneralhome.com
