Maria West Obituary
Born in Raab, Austria, she was the daughter of the late Johann and Katharina Spreitzer.
Most important to Maria was her family, and she was lovingly devoted to them. She leaves behind her four children, Dagmar V. Falcone and husband Natale of Westerly, Gary R. West and wife Barbara of Storrs, CT, Cynthia K. Whitfield of Springhill, FL and Ingrid W. Hall and husband Carlton of Cocoa, FL; twelve grandchildren; and eleven great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her son-in-law, Doug Whitfield.
Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday, June 6th from 5-7p.m. at Gaffney-Dolan Funeral Home, 59 Spruce St., Westerly. Relatives and friends are also invited to attend the Funeral Service at Joy Fellowship Assembly of God, 17 Bowling Lane, Bradford on Wednesday, June 7th at 10:30a.m. There is no procession from the funeral home to church. I am very saddened to hear of Maria's passing. What a sweet, kind and gentle friend. What a true Jesus-lover she was, and now she is with Him rejoicing forevermore. May God comfort all her family and friends.

Ingrid 'm sorry for your Mom's passing always remember her when she would visit Mrs. Knight Mrs Knight would always yell for my Mom and I to come over so we could a chat we would come over and say we could stay a few a little while witch always lasted a couple hours we enjoyed it very much. Eric your mother and my mother in the hat are just as I remember them. Coffee klatch at our house before going grocery shopping is something I always enjoyed when Maria stopped in for a visit and it always included a lot of laughs. Maria was always fun to talk with.
