Martha Lemieux Warren

WESTERLY - Martha Lemieux Warren, 66, of Westerly, RI, passed away on Sunday, November 16th, peacefully with her family by her side at Dana Farber in Boston.

Born in North Brookfield, MA, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Theresa Lemieux. She is survived by her sisters, Maryellen Sanford, Paula Bennett, and Jacqueline Lemieux, and reunited with her brother James 'Jimmy' Lemieux and sister Jean Woods.

Martha built a beautiful life with her husband of 48 years, Robert 'Bob' Warren Sr. She was the proud mother of Amy Gerken, spouse Cheryl, and Robert 'Rob' Warren Jr., husband Michael Duteau. Her most cherished role was becoming 'Gramma' to her granddaughter Avery Rose, whose spirited and creative nature mirrored her own and brought her immeasurable joy. She also leaves behind nieces, nephews, cousins, and many cherished friends.

After beginning her career as a dental assistant, Martha went on to own and operate the North Woodstock Country Store. She later found her true calling in real estate, becoming known as her clients' 'realtor for life'. She was the kind of agent who rolled up her sleeves without hesitation and worked alongside families, turning clients into lifelong friends.

Martha found a special joy in her years in Westerly. She and Bob embraced the beach life, walking the shoreline, searching for sea glass, creating jewelry and art, and discovering her love of pickleball. She cherished the cruises they took together and the spontaneous adventures she shared with her son and best friend Rob.

For 28 months she lived with the same spirit, laughter, and creativity she had always carried. She danced whenever she could, kept making art, supported others through their own diagnoses, and met every challenge with heart, humor, and grace.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, December 5, 2025, at St. Joseph's Church, 296 N. Main St., North Brookfield, MA, and at 11 a.m. on Friday, December 19, 2025, at St. Andrew's Lutheran Church, 15 E. Beach Rd., Charlestown, RI.
