Although Pete told me he was not well, when the call came, my entire being cried NO! My sincere condolences to Heather and Roger and their families, to Pete’s extended family, and to all of his many friends. I am blessed to have had THAT friend—you know the one—that friend with whom you can pick up right where you left off—no matter what, with whom you share mutual honesty—no matter what, with whom you share mutual support—no matter what . . . We played, worked, laughed, discussed, argued, confided, celebrated, mourned, prayed, etc. together across 50+ years. I am blessed, and I am beyond sad to lose my dear friend. However, the sadness is eased by knowing that he is no longer suffering, that he is reuniting with loved ones, that our separation is temporary, and that he is with our God.

My condolences to Heather and the rest of Peter's family on his passing. I will always remember him as a student and feel the world will be less without him in it. Treasure your memories to keep him always alive in your hearts.

I remember Peter from N.S. a long time ago. His parents and family very nice people. I worked with his Mother and Farther driving bus and also had the Post Office. God will help your family through the sad times. God doesn't give us what we can handle; God help us handle what we are given. Another angel in heaven (Peter) . never forget the good people that we meet along the way. God Bless his family and friends.

always a friend
