Richard Knight Obituary
In addition to his loving mother, Richard is survived by his sister Elizabeth Tremblay; nephews, Justin, Stephen and his wife Tisha, and Christos. He also had a dog Oscar and his cat Ace.
Richard had many extended relatives and friends that he cared for as well. He loved all his family and friends and was always greathearted. He will be greatly missed.
Services will be private and there will be no visiting hours. Gaffney-Dolan Funeral Home, 59 Spruce St., Westerly is in charge of the arrangements. For online condolences please visit www.gaffneydolanfuneralhome.cm

I'm so sorry to hear of Richard's ( a.k.a skippy) death. Words can't describe the sorrow I have. Noone could make me laugh like him. My condolences and prayers to his family. Skippy you will be missed. Work just isn't the same anymore. :(

I will never be able to walk past the pharmacy department at walmart without hearing Richard ranting and raving. Joking and poking fun at all of us making us laugh and helping us to ignore our own troubles even for a moment. Rich was an amazing man to know and he will be dearly missed.

Born less than 2 months after me, Ricky and I were the cousins closest in age. Whether it be Sunday afternoon gatherings at Grandma's house, a family trip, the passing of our grandparents, family birthdays, my wedding or other family events, Ricky was always a kind, helping, easy-going soul. Death came so suddenly and unexpectedly, but the memories remain. You are in our prayers. RIP cousin Ricky.

I remember a Christmas Eve after my older cousin Ricky got his new Charger and we packed in the car to go see Christmas lights. It was snowing and we had a good time. Ricky was always smiling, laughing and jovial. I have good memories of a really nice guy. RIP cousin Ricky.

I've worked with Rich at Walmart for the last 6 years. In those 6 years Rich had become another father in my life. We always talked about Oscar and Ace, his nephews, and the wild rabbits he ended up growing his garden for. He would always ask me about my days and weekends, my little petting zoo at home, and my parents. He always offered me any advice and kept me smiling on my bad days. He was truly a great man and father figure. I love him so much and I will miss him every single day.
