Scott Dupré Obituary

On September 30, 2021 Scott Erik Dupré succumbed to the devastating Renal Disease he courageously battled throughout his life time. Left behind to mourn his loss are his wife Linda of 25 years, his brother, Michael Dupré, daughters Monique Dupré, Jillian Carmichael, and their mother Elizabeth Vandal.
Scott will also be remembered by his brother in law Larry Beebe, stepbrothers Leo and Michael Walsh and their families. A brother Donald Dupré, and stepbrother Raymond Walsh predeceased him.
Scott left happy memories for his stepdaughter Shana, grandsons Micah and Jakob White and his adopted niece Jillian Knight Nesbo of Bergan, Norway. Scott was born on July 15, 1953 to Donald Dupré, Sr. and Adele (Moberg) Dupré. Scott was raised in Jamestown, RI. He attended elementary school there, and then in 1971 graduated from Rogers High School, Newport, RI. Scott pursued his love of the outdoors by earning a degree in Forest Management at Paul Smith's College, New York. It was 1979 and Scott had graduated from The Rhode Island School of Electronics, helping him secure a position at the Raytheon Company as a Module Quality Assurance Engineer. Fulfilling yet another goal, Scott became a licensed contractor which would showcase his remarkable ability of design and creation in wood working. July 3, 1996, Scott married the former Linda Beebe Keene. Until his death, he and Linda shared their passion for all things nature provided by camping, hiking and kayaking at any place their RV, "The Relentless", brought them. Scott took great pleasure maintaining their two acre homestead in Westerly, RI. He cherished working the land and updating their small cottage house. Happily working side by side, he and Linda created their own little woodland paradise. Scott will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
