Gordon Reddick Obituary
Gordon Dean Reddick, age 81, of Centerburg, died peacefully on Saturday, July 21, 2018 at Centerburg Pointe Care Center surrounded by his loving family. Retired Produce Manager for A&P Grocery and Atzinger Cardinal for 25 years. Member of Faith Fellowship, Johnstown. Dean was a wonderful husband, father and grandfather. He loved the outdoors, fishing and walking in the woods. He loved boxing, was on the OSU Boxing team, was former State Field Champion in Archery, loved his '67 RSS Camaro that is now cared for by his grandson, Andrew, and loved all his "4-legged kids". Dean was preceded in death by his parents James and Bessie Reddick, daughter Christina Danielle, infant son Timothy, brother Warren and foster parents Rex and Wilda Dudley. Dean is survived by loving wife of 30 years, Delores A. Reddick; sons, Dean (Kim) Reddick, Jr. of Columbus, Mike (Kathy) Metzger of Sunbury; daughters, Stacy Reddick of Mt. Vernon, Deborah (Rick) Pizzurro and Sharon (Bob) Sciacca, all of Johnstown; grandchildren, Stephanie, Brian (Nikki), Heather, Andrew (Ashley), Amanda and Christina; great-grandchildren, Cole, Sydney, Olivia, Kenzie, Aubry, Kendal, Madylen and Logan; brothers, Dwight Reddick of Florida, James Reddick of Akron; sister, June (John) Miller of New Carlisle; sisters-in-law, Jane (Bob) Crippen, Phyllis (Mike) Forest, Debi Jordan. Friends may call 2-4 pm on Sunday, July 29, 2018 at DeVore-Snyder Funeral Home, 637 N. State Route 61, (at SR 3), Sunbury, where Funeral Service will be held at 4 pm. Pastor Dan McLoughlin officiating. Private family interment at a later date. Contributions may be made to Alzheimer's Association, Delaware Branch, 39 West Winter Street, Delaware, OH 43015, HOPE (Heart of Ohio Pets), P.O. Box 242, Centerburg, OH 43011 or Faith Fellowship, 24 S Main St, Johnstown, OH 43031 in Dean's memory. DeVore-Snyder Funeral Home of Sunbury is honored to serve Dean's family.
