Marvin Duane Robinson, age 77, passed away on Friday, February 2, 2018 at his residence. Veteran US Army, serving in Vietnam on two tours, as a green beret. Member St Cecilia Catholic Church. Preceded in death by: Former wife: Lagatha Robinson. Parents: William Robinson and Violet Simmons Williams. Father in law: Thomas Paul. Grandchildren: Honnie, Landon and Natalia. Son in law: Joseph Matello. Sisters: Libby Butcher and Manona Davis. Brother: William Robinson. Special friend: Frank Mehling. Survived by: Wife: Janet. Children: Marvin Ray (Brenda) Robinson, Susan (Danny) Eddy, Michael (Mindy) Robinson, Christina (Christine) Oelker, Stephani (Travis) Mitchell, Heather Robinson, Tamara Crawford and Natalie Robinson. 19 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and numerous other family and friends. Special thanks to his many close friends and staff at Arlington Court as well as his loving and caring nurse with Bella Care Hospice, Carrie Stoll. Friends may call at Jerry Spears Funeral Home, 2693 W. Broad St., Monday, 2-4 & 6-8 PM. Funeral Mass, 10:30 AM Tuesday, St Cecilia Catholic Church, 434 Norton Rd. Father Leo Connolly, Celebrant. Interment Forest Grove Cemetery, Plain City, OH. Prayer service, 3:45 PM Monday.
