Mary Elder Obituary
Mary Ann (Welch) Elder, age 78, passed away Saturday, January 20, 2018. Born August 22, 1939 in Columbus, Ohio, daughter of the late Harold and Alice (Kelly) Welch. Also preceded in death by her husband Gerald "Gerry" Elder and son Michael Marsh, sisters and brother Harold "Brother" Welch, Laverne McFarland and Irene Carpenter. Survived by step-children, Glenn and Gayle (Jeff) Dittmer; grandchildren, Amanda, Todd, Eric and Maria; sisters and brother, Patricia Allen, Helen Carpenter, Tom (Lois) Welch, Kathleen (Paul) Sarina; and numerous other relatives and friends. Friends may call Friday from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. at EGAN-RYAN FUNERAL HOME, 403 East Broad Street, where a Funeral Service will be held at 1 p.m. Burial to follow at St. Joseph Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Home Reach Hospice. Visit www.egan-ryan.com to offer condolences.

been thinking of nanny all week & our good memories since i got the news </3 i just saw her last thurday and i was thinking maybe i should of held onto her a little bit longer. I loved her beyond words and i will miss her dearly. She was more than just my grandmother, she was more of a 2nd mom. Nanny was always there for me no matter what and i will always remember the good lessons she taught me. I love you & miss you dearly nanny, may you rest in piece and hug michael for me. R.I.H
