Paula L. Card, 77, peacefully passed away surrounded by her loving family on May 15, 2021. She was born on July 16, 1943 in Quincy, MA. She was preceded in death by her parents Paul A. and Evelyn F. Hurley and an infant son at birth. Surviving family includes her devoted husband of 56 years, Edward; children, Pamela (Eric) Reisch, Eddie (Brooke) Card; grandchildren, Megan, Maren and Matthew Reisch, Addie Grace and Anna Claire Card; sister, Joanellen Hurley; and nieces, Julia (Jordan) and Maura Hurley. Paula was a devoted wife and mother. Although as a young woman she battled breast cancer and the loss of several best friends, it never deterred her from living life to its fullest and always smiling .Paula loved Sunday drives, traveling, musical theater shows, dining on seafood and sitting with her toes in the sand while looking to discover the next new beach or restaurant she would convince Ed to try. She cherished time with friends, family and was always by Ed's side keeping him in line. Friends wishing to honor Paula may make a donation to The Susan G. Komen Foundation at komen.org or Al -Anon Family groups at al-anon.org. Friends and family will remember Paula as someone who was always ready with kind word and a helping hand. All are welcome to attend visitation from 2-4pm Sunday, June 6, 2021 at Newcomer Funeral Home, NW Chapel, 10051 Brewster Lane, Powell, OH 43065, where a funeral service will begin at 4pm.
