My deepest condolences to the family of Robert Dickerson.
I only knew brother Rob for a few years but I can surely say that he was truly a good man!
Rob was ALWAYS smiling,laughing and befriending everyone in his light. Brother Rob helped me to get through many stressful work days at Nationwide by simply joking with me and giving me sound brotherly advice always telling me to "don't let em get you down bruh".
I'm going to miss you my brother! Rest in peace!

What a wonderful person. I have known Rob for about 10 years and he was always happy and uplifting. My grandson Jordan loved Rob so much, from the first time I brought him in to meet Rob, Jordan was about 2 1/2 yrs old, Rob always made over Jordan and Jordan always had to go see Rob when he came to Nationwide. Rob called him his "little nephew" Jordan is now 13 1/2 yrs old. He was so sad when I told him, he wanted to come see Rob in the hospital.
Rob was sure "one of a kind". We were all lucky to have known him. I'm sure he's in Heaven loving everyone and cooking up a storm! Smiling,Smiling!
To his children, you have a great Dad I know he will be waiting for you all to come home to Him and your Mother in Heaven. I just can't say enough good about him, he was and is so special.
My love and prayers goes out to all of his family, loved ones and co workers.

What a loss! Rob and I worked in the same building for many years. If you were around Rob and weren't smiling, you just weren't paying attention. He always had a big smile and greeting for everyone. I'd pass him in the hall and hear "What's happenin, Money?" He made a friend out of everyone he met and will be missed greatly at Nationwide. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family at this painful time.

Rob cooked many a breakfast for me at Nationwide! I taught him how to cook fried eggs the way I wanted them! LOL And he quickly learned exactly how many potatoes to put in my "hash browns omelet." He remembered everybody's favorite orders and how to cook them, and always took time to greet everybody, calling most of us women "Sugar." We'll miss Rob, and keep many happy memories about him. Now heaven is brighter because he's there.

I worked @ "Rob's Building" for Nationwide for a few months. I didn't know him other than the surprisingly welcoming casual conversation he'd have with me when I'd order at his grill. My wife and kids met me for lunch one day, and we ordered from Rob. He engaged in pretty lengthy conversations with both of my kids, and they really took a liking to him. When I told them of his passing, they were genuinely saddened. Amazing how one interaction with that man made such an impact with them. I can only imagine how much Rob will be missed by his loved ones. WE miss him, and barely knew him. Rest in peace Rob.....

Rob,I know you are here in spirit and now resting peacefully with God and his Angels. Although, it's been 5 years or so since I last saw you at NW...I remember your kindness and compassion. You always said, there's my man...to me....I will always keep you in thought...and someday we will all be together. Your smile was bigger than life!! Everyday, you reached out and made our lives a little better. Rob, was such a nice man. He was friendly and outgoing and made you feel welcomed. I only knew him for a little while but it was definitely my pleasure to have known him. Rest in peace man of God.

Rob was such a easy and wonderful person to talk to. It's a blessing to call him my friend. I personally will miss our many conversations, his smile, and those bear hugs he gave me while at Nationwide.
