Mary Hanson Obituary
Born January 14, 1920, she was the daughter of Ben Southerland and Myrtle Phipps Southerland. She was a Baptist and a Democrat.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, James Crossen, in 1982 and her second husband, John Hanson, in 2008. She was also preceded in death by two sons, Eugene Crossen in 1993 and Eddie Crossen in 2016, and one granddaughter, Jennifer Crossen in 2006.
Survivors include four sons, Harold (& wife Hallene) Crossen of Beebe, Chester (& wife Pat) Crossen of Colt, Freddie (& wife Patty) Crossen of Searcy and Roger Crossen of Searcy; one daughter, Freida Callahan of Beebe; 17 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
Visitation will be one hour prior to the funeral ceremony at Morgan Chapel on Monday, April 16, 2018. Services are scheduled for Monday, April 16, 2018 at 2 p.m. at Morgan Chapel in Forrest City. Burial will follow at Hughes Cemetery in Forrest City.
Morgan Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

I was sorry to hear about Mary. I was so surprised since I had just visited with her at Beebe Retirement Center on Saturday. She seemed fine, in her usual good sprit and made the comment that she was ready to go whenever the Lord saw fit to take her. She will be missed. My condolences to her family and friends.
