Mary Siler Obituary

Mary Rose Oxner Siler, age 86, of Wynne, died Saturday, April 13, 2024, at St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro. She had been in poor health for the past two months.
Mrs. Siler was born July 4, 1937, in Moro, and was the daughter of Bryant Oxner and Rosie Evanoff Oxner. She lived in Palestine and Rondo most of her life and moved to Wynne in 2020. She was a retired bookkeeper for the Palestine School District and was a member of the Palestine Cumberland Presbyterian Church.
Mrs. Siler married Glen Siler in 1955, and he survives her along with two sons, Stanley Siler and wife, Debbie, of Wynne, and Scott Siler and wife, Kristen, of Jonesboro; one daughter, Glenda Devasier and husband, Larry, of Colt; one brother, William Oxner of Macon, Ga.; eight grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother, Marco Oxner, and her sister, Louise Wooten.
Visitation will be this evening, Tuesday, April 16, 2024, from 5 to 7 p.m., at Stevens Funeral Home.
Services for Mrs. Siler will be held at Stevens Funeral Home Chapel at 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, April 17, 2024, with burial in Bell Cemetery.
Stevens Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
