Janet Tandy Obituary
Janet Call Tandy, 79, passed away Monday, Oct. 27, 2025.
She was the wife of James Garland "Jim" Tandy for 53 years; mother of Marty Tandy (Melanie);
Daughter of the late John Willard and Mary Bayne Call; sister of Paula Hyatt (Arnold),George Call (Judy), Steve Call (Dottie).
She was a member of Chestnut Oak Church in Kuttawa, enjoyed horseback riding, reading, and gardening.
She was a retired English teacher and speech coach at Caldwell County High School.
Visitation will be at Morgan's Funeral Home from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. with the funeral service at 1 p.m. Friday, Nov. 14, 2025. Rev. Marty Robinson, of Chestnut Oak Church, will officiate.
Interment will follow at Millwood Cemetery in Cobb.
A Celebration of Janet's life will be held from 4 to 6 p.m.at Majestic House.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Caldwell County Animal Shelter, 489 Baker Hill Road, Princeton, KY 42445; or Crossroads Christian Youth Program, 2461 Sandlick Road, Princeton, KY 42445; or Chestnut Oak Church Youth Program, 87 KY 127, Kuttawa, KY 42055.
