Mary Eileen Flam

1945 - 2015

Mary Eileen Flam (Osmon), age 70, of Plymouth, MN, former resident of Jamestown, ND, passed away April 19, 2015. Preceded in death by parents Willis (Bill) and Leone Osmon and survived by her husband, Jerry; son Bryan Flam, Fargo; daughter Kaia Mahlke (Tom), Victoria, MN; grandchildren Jamie, Alex, Andrew, and Greta; sister Carol Wolf (Randy) and nieces and nephews. Mary was born February 23, 1945 in Jamestown, ND. She grew up in Valley City, ND, graduated from UND, and married Jerry in 1967. She worked at Area Social Service Center in Minot, ND and later moved to Jamestown where she raised her two children and worked for Jamestown Public Schools as an elementary school social worker. Mary's activities included Symphony League, Jamestown Planning Commission, League of Women's Voters, United Way Board, P.E.O., Trinity Church Council, and The Gathering. She also enjoyed Dance Club, Bridge Club, Bunco, sewing, reading, watching sports, and especially spending time with her family and friends. Her wisdom, humor, kindness, and generosity will be missed beyond measure. Funeral service Saturday 2 pm at St. Barnabas Lutheran Church, 15600 Old Rockford Rd., Plymouth, MN with visitation one hour prior to service.
