Pastor Ray Klug or PK, as one of the camp counselors nicknamed him, was our camp director when I was a camp counselor at Red Willow Bible Camp around 1966-1968 in Binford North Dakota. He was a well respected director with a heart for reaching kids with the gospel of Jesus Christ. His wife, Elaine, had a beautiful soprano voice and sang many solos. One song I believe she sang so beautifully was "His Eye is on the Sparrow". May the Lord bless the memory of Pastor Klug.

I was about to write PK a letter today; but something nudged my heart and told me to look for his obituary. I loved PK as my confirmation pastor and the Bible Camp Director. He helped me begin my journey of faith, patiently answering my questions. I reconnected by letter a few years ago; and stopped to see him while my family vacationed at a resort nearby. It was a joyful reunion. I am sure he is with the Lord and I eagerly anticipate seeing him again. Please extend my heart felt condolences to remaining family....even though I am several months overdue. He was loved by so many; but especially the Lord.
