Robert Law Obituary
Robert George Law, age 79, of Valley City, ND, died Wednesday, March 18th at HIA Heather's House under Hospice Care. Per Robert's wishes, no memorial service will be held. Inurnment with Military Honors will take place at 10:00 AM on Friday, May 15th at the North Dakota Veteran's Cemetery, Mandan, ND.
Robert George Law, the son of Donald and Bernice (Garven) Law, was born July 24, 1946 in Jamestown, ND. Robert grew up and attended school in Wimbledon, ND where he graduated from High School in 1964. After receiving his education, Robert enlisted in the US Marine Corp on August 29, 1967. Robert served two tours of duty in Viet Nam and was discharged on August 28, 1971 as a Sargent. Robert attended and graduated from the University of Wisconsin, La Crosse where he received his Bachelors Degree. He worked jobs in various locations and later retired to Wimbledon before moving to Valley City.
Robert is survived by his children, Justin, Jerrid and Alexa; two brothers, Larry and Jay and their families; one sister, Janice McDaniel and her family; numerous cousins and friends.
Robert was preceded in death by his parents. An online guestbook will be available at www.lerudmathias.com. Funeral arrangements by Traditions Funeral Service, Lerud Mathias of Valley City.
