Betty O'Brien

Betty Lavern West O'Brien, age 77 of Georgetown, Texas formerly of Midland, TX. passed away Saturday, May, 10, 2008 in Georgetown after a battle with Lewey Body Dementia. She was born January 13, 1931 in Purcell, Oklahoma where she grew up and still has family and many close friends. She was the oldest of three children born to James Athan West and Vergie Mae Wyatt West. She attended school and graduated from Purcell High School in 1948. She retired from the Midland County Clerk's office in 1996 after 26 years of dedicated service. She is survived by son, Ronald O'Brien and wife Marci of Georgetown, TX and other extended family. Funeral services will be 10:00 AM Friday, May 16, 2008, at Wilson-Little Funeral Home Chapel in Purcell. Burial will be at Hillside Cemetery in Purcell.
