Clifford Glen Ona Percy, 76, passed away on December 17, 2006, in Crescent City, CA. He was born on May 19, 1930, to William and Cora Percy in Glendora, CA. He was a 45 year resident of Del Norte County. Clifford was a US Army Veteran having served during the Korean Conflict. He was a member of the Crescent City BPOE #1689. Prior to his retirement he was a heavy equipment operator for the local operating engineers. He was also a driftboat guide on the Smith River.
Survived by: wife of 56 years: Peggy Ann Percy of Crescent City, CA; sons: Newton Clifford Percy of Crescent City, CA, Kenneth Glenn Percy of Crescent City, CA, daughter: Bonnie Lorraine CaIdwell of Miranda, CA; brothers: Alvin Dean Percy of San Bernardino, CA, Lesie Percy of Las Vegas, NV; sisters: Dorthy LaPolla, Ruby lnbriana and Marion Isley of Colton, CA; eight grandchildren and three great granddaughters.
The family requests contributions be made to one’s favorite charity.
Private family services will be held. Private interment at the Del Norte County Veteran’s Cemetery, Crescent City, CA.
