I am so sry to hear about your loss, Joe Moon I just heard and if you ever need to talk I'm still here for you. Hang in there Joe and don't be riding your quad at night your mom wouldn't have liked that she never did. Your mom was a great woman and who showed me tough love more than once.

Tiny was one-of-a-kind…never afraid to speak her mind, fiercely protective of her family and she always had Joe’s back and I have never seen a woman who worked so hard. The funniest thing I ever saw was her arrival to meet BIA Superintendent Norman Tippeconnic on his first day at work in Hoopa. After she left Norman immediately walked red-faced and flustered over to the old Tribal Office across from the High School to ask “Just who is this Tina Moon?” I sometimes reminded her of that day and it always made her laugh. Tiny’s passing takes away from the Valley another forceful voice who was never afraid to question authority, speak out against wrong-doing and pack a recall petition when it needed to be done. We may not have always agreed with her but her arguments often had the support of many tribal members. Who is left that will stand up like she did?
