I met Mr. Macintosh in 2012. One thing that stood out was his presence. He was a sturdy looking man, with a strong voice and determination. The moment you were in the same room with Mr. M. you felt like a friend, despite the many years age difference. He was one who you instantly became fond of and he could steal your heart with his teddy bear presence. I knew him briefly, but he left his image with those who came into his life if even for a day. He could make a stranger feel like a friend, a friend like family. He beamed from ear to ear with a smile that was so genuine and pure, when you ask or mention his children. He loved them more than his words could speak. You could see it, feel it. They were the beat in his heart. I was lucky to know him, though briefly. He made an impact on me and one I will cherish for many years to come. GOD has taken home another angel. He may not be with us any longer in vision and physical surroundings, but he will be with so many of us when we look up and call his name. He will smile from above. Thank you for letting me get to know a piece of your life Mr. MaCintosh. I will never forget it, and you!
Dad on the right.
