Minister Lester White Sr.
Phillipians 3:13-14
Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, I press toward the mark for the prized of the high calling of God and Christ Jesus.
Lester White Sr., a servant of the most high, a minister of the word of God, a son, a brother, Husband, Father, grandfather, great grandfather, uncle, cousin and friend to many. Lester came into this world on February 19, 1941 in Hoopa, Ca to the late William and Annabelle (Black) White and made his triumphant transition to make heaven his home to be with the Lord on Saturday, March 26, 2021.
He felt called into ministry at the young age of 38. And for 42 years, spent his life dedicated to Evangelising, preaching, teaching, interceding and later went on to become the pastor of the New Life Church, where he had faithfully served as their minister for over 20 years.
Lester was predeceased by his parents, his brothers Andrew and Wendall, and his sisters Vera, Radenia, and Darla, grandchildren Angel and Kepcenich Aubrey. He is survived by his wife of 26 years, Charlene; 10 children Leslie, Lester Jr., Julie, Travis, Fawn, Lester III, Caleb, Josh, Snowbird, and Serene; 9 son & daughter-in-laws Tom Bray, Filomena, Leo Canez, Christina, Francee, Ruby, Ewan McLean and Tim Hayden; 4 step-children Leyna, George & Bear, Cory and Daniel; 49 grand children Cassandra, Tessa, Kristen, Colton, Jericho, Shirley, Maxine, Christine, Daniel, Cha'Keni, Kae'Gaet, Angelique, Alexis, Chay-Guen, Ollie, Rebecca, Leo, Mickela, Jaiden, Breydon, Tillis, Tiny, Key-nuh, Satori, Joshua, Gunnar, Mason, Leon, Joseph, Ewan, Layla, Quincy, Gabriel, Rachine, Kelsey, Emily, John, Adam, Akira, George, Vincent, Marley, Thea, Arrow, Faith, Daisy, Larry, Isabelle, Aurora, Daniel and Nathaniel, 18 great grandchildren, his sisters Anita, Ollie Mae, Dolly, Vonna, Billy "Chopsi", Brother in laws Jerry Davis and Frank Horne, as well as numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, friends, and many close brothers and sisters in Christ.
A funeral service will be held at 12pm on Thursday, April 1, 2021, at the White Flat residence just outside his home. The viewing will begin 7pm, Wednesday in his home.
