I am saddened. I was looking at his pastel of 3 Swimmers 3x5 I bought in 1986. Think Ill google him. I love my piece he made! I am honored! Gareth Tyrnauer

I met Tom at the Art Center in Old Town Eureka back in the early 1990s. I had some great talks with him about art and recall him listening to Chopin and Shostakovitch as he painted his immense canvases. Then later, I met his wife Judy and occasionally bumped into them at Vellutini's in Henderson Center. At other times I'd catch them feeding seagulls by the bay as I tended to some feral cats. Lovely couple I always thought. I always enjoyed our chance meetings and will never forget them.

Dear Judy, This news makes us so sad. John and I enjoyed our brief chats with you and Tom, and I treasure a line drawing of his. Love, Barbara

Judy,
I was so glad to be able to read about Tom's life and get a greater insight into who he was.
We,from Agape Home Care, so enjoyed being able to come alongside of you and help you with Tom's care in your great time of need. He was a great guy to work with. We enjoyed getting acquainted with you both.
It was so sweet to see how evident it was of your love for one another. Loved seeing that.
Tom had a winning smile and he could say a lot with expression in his eyes and a nod of the head. He was very appreciative for all that we were there to help him with.
Delighted to have the opportunity to know him.
Thank you for always making us feel so at home when we came for our shifts. I can see why he liked you so much! You were a good team together.
Please accept my sincere condolences. May you find comfort in the many adventures and memories of your time together; memory is a wonderful gift from God.
