Tim Gott

born February 4, 1959 in Longview, Washington, passed away at his home in McKinleyville on January 6, 2012 at the age of 52. Tim's life from birth was full of illness and difficult times. He loved his life's work in the woods with his dad. He always thought his dad knew it all and did it right. He began going to the woods with his dad when he was 3 years old. Tim was a very tough person, but soft at heart; he did not often display his true feelings. He worried about everyone and kept up with the whole family through his parents; added each problem to his list to worry over. In spite of everything, Tim loved life and never complained about his pain nor as 1 by 1 he had to give up the things he couldn't do anymore. He could get pretty excited when he talked about politicians and feared for the state of our country. There is a very empty spot without him, he will be forever loved. Tim is survived by his parents, Rex and Chloe Gott; daughter Angel; grandson Kaden; brother Harold and his wife Linda; 1 nephew, 2 nieces, 5 uncles, aunts and a host of cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his 4 grandparents, 4 uncles and 1 aunt. He was also preceded by 4 older men who he had worked with who were very dear to him.
