Tyler James White
Tyler James White, 28, long-term resident of Humboldt County, Ca passed away on August 8, 2022. Tyler was born on January 26, 1994 in Kingman, Az. The third and youngest child of Robert Keith White and Marlene (Fowler) White. His siblings Ryan Robert White, four years older and Christina Lynn White, eight years older.
Tyler was also raised by his stepmother Lora Beeson and grew up with his stepbrother Cameron Beeson. Coincidentally, both Cameron and Tyler were born on the same day and in the same hospital.
Tyler had always looked up to his big brother Ryan, who taught Tyler many skills, such as logging trees, auto mechanics, farming and fishing to name a few. They both shared a love of big Ford trucks! Tyler was very close to his brother Ryan and his family, sister-in-law Natasha and his niece & nephew Jade & Ambroze, who all say that they can't imagine life without Uncle TyTy.
Cameron's favorite memories growing up with Tyler is always having his best friend with him and them sharing their birthday parties, which were always so much fun with friends and family and their must-have for every birthday party was Piñatas!
At age 13, Tyler taught himself how to play the guitar. The first song he learned was "Sweet Home Alabama' Marlene remembers Tyler calling her at work and said, "Mom, Listen to this," and then played the entire song all the way through. She teared up with pride, sitting in her office listening to him play the song. Tyler continued to play guitar as an adult but he would never let anyone record him, so we had to do it secretly!
Tyler lived with his Aunt Gayle in Colorado for several months during the winter months when he was 18. Gayle remembers how much Tyler loved the snow. She also remembers Tyler always begging her to allow him to drive her car. Finally she did, and they had the best time together. They also went shopping at a local guitar store. She says he played several guitars before buying the perfect one. She said, "It was so fun to watch him and listen to him play.".
In 2014, Tyler moved to Humboldt County, where he moved in with some friends on Spring St. in Eureka. Tyler volunteered at the local bike kitchen, and got into bike polo, which he loved to play every Sunday. Stella, Tiger and Turtle and some other friends he met during this time helped him find something that he loved to do in his spare time. Tyler did awesome at the out of town bike polo tournament and loved to regularly wear the tank top he got that weekend!
While living on Spring St., the girl across the street, Skye, caught his eye. After meeting, the two quickly fell in love, and began a family. Tyler accepted Skye's young son Azaria, as his son and he loved to take "his boy" to work with him and for rides in the crate on the back of his bike. Tyler and Skye welcomed their daughter, Lyla Everly Lynn White, to their family in May 2015 and son, Granger Keith White, in January 2018.
Tyler began working at Beacom Construction in August 2014, and quickly became a Fuel Technician. He loved his job, and according to his boss Earl Amrosini, "Tyler was technologically intelligent, and excelled at everything he did! When Tyler was at his best, he surpassed every other technician I have, at their best!" Tyler took great pride in the advancements he made with Beacom and loved to work on sketches and plans for work even on his off time. By 2019, Tyler had worked his way up to become a Construction Foreman with Beacom and they had him go to a local Fortuna dealership and pick out his very own, brand new work truck!
Tyler loved to work on his trucks, and could teach himself to fix anything that went wrong with one of the many trucks he had! He also had a passion for woodworking and would regularly involve the kids in his many projects, including making planter boxes, fun plywood cutouts for the holidays, and even making a lemonade stand, which the kids had a blast running.
One of Tyler's favorite holiday traditions was to take his family to Horse Mountain out on Hwy 299 to cut down their own Christmas tree and to play in the snow. Anytime Tyler was near a snowy mountain, sandy beach or flat desert land, he was in 4WD, off-roading in one of his many trucks!
In the summer of 2019 Tyler and Skye took their kids on a trip out to Arizona to introduce his kids to family and friends they'd never met and to show his family around Arizona, where he grew up. They really enjoyed the desert sunsets, sunshine and they made amazing memories with his Grandma Sandi and stepbrother Cameron and his family, plus several other friends from school and they all met to watch the fireworks on the Fourth of July.
Tyler's Mom Marlene moved to Humboldt County in June 2016 to be near her two sons and their growing families. She knew Tyler as a very loving and caring soul. Even as a young child Tyler loved the babies and animals. If there was a baby or pet anywhere in sight, he was with them. Everyone who got to know Tyler really loved him. He had the best personality and it was impossible to be anything but in a good mood when Tyler was around.
Tyler is survived by his Wife Olivia White; Mother Marlene White; Mother of their three children, Skye Davison, children, Azaria Noah Davison, Lyla Everly Lynn White, and Granger Keith White; brother Ryan Robert White, sister-in-law Natasha White, niece Jade Pearl White, nephew Ambroze Robert Lee White, stepbrother Cameron Beeson and sister-in-law Sahara Beeson and their children and all of his beloved aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
