Donald H. Boutin Sr.

ORANGE - Donald Henry Boutin Sr., 77, of Kimberlee Lane, passed away on Thursday, April 5, 2018, peacefully at his home. Born on March 12, 1941, in Barre, Vermont, he was the son of Henry Boutin and Vivian (Gosselin) Boutin.
Donald attended St. Sylvester's Holy Ghost School in Graniteville, Saint Monica Catholic School and Marian High School in Barre. On April 20, 1963, he married Justina McCormack.
Donald was a business owner of a body shop. He also worked as an auto body manager for three dealerships and lastly, as maintenance technician for Redland Brick.
Don enjoyed hunting, fishing, snowmobiling and four-wheeling, but loved most being on his tractor and time watching wildlife. His hobbies include woodworking, carving, gardening, canning and racing.
Survivors include mother Vivian Boutin; sisters Sandra Elmer, Patricia Boutin, Claire Escalante and her husband, Dave; children Tina Lefebvre and her husband, James, of Ruckersville, Virginia, Donald Boutin Jr. and his wife, Sandra, of Orange, Vermont, Renee Hrubovcak and her husband, John, of Williamstown, Vermont, and Michael Boutin, of Barre; 11 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by father Henry Boutin and sister Nancy Demers.
A graveside service will be held Monday, June 4, 2018, at 1 p.m. in St. Sylvester Cemetery, Websterville, Vermont, followed by a reception at the Orange Town Hall, Route 302. To honor Don's wishes, there will be no calling hours. Arrangements are in the care of Pruneau-Polli Funeral Home, 58 Summer St., Barre, Vermont.
