My Dad worked with him at SIU and introduced him to us. I remember, and miss, Duncan's driving us around off-road through hills and fields in his old Toyota Land Cruiser. I can't forget one time in the wilderness when he said "Oh wow! A fox!" and we tried to follow the fox! I miss him but think of him often, especially driving my own Land Cruiser!

Duncan was my printmaking teacher when I was a student at Goddard College in the early seventies. He was an inspiring man whose creativity knew no boundaries. He lives on not only in his own art but also in the art of the artists he helped to cultivate. He will be remembered and missed.
Please accept my condolences.
