It has been said that some people enter our lives for a season, or perhaps for a reason. Jim was one of those very dear long-time friends who was in my life for MANY seasons, and for lovely reasons. He brought with him a smile, a hug, and an attitude of joy in enjoying the 'simple' pleasures that far too many others take for granted or merely overlook ... the joy of being with family, the company of good friends, the importance of having a good dog beside you through thick n thin ... but most of all .. an honest soul filled with love for Laurel, Sara & Colin. Family truly matters is a legacy that Jim leaves behind ... and you don't have to be "blood" to be 'family.' You left us way too soon, Jim. The light you shared will continue to shine brightly in the hearts of those who had the real honor of knowing you. Caring thoughts to Laurel & the kids .. and to his brothers & extended family. With love, "George"
