Joshua Evans Obituary
He was born in Lebanon, New Hampshire, on April 17, 1981, the son of Robert and Deborah (Gray) Evans. Josh is a graduate of Northfield High School, class of 1998.
He married Jessica Amell on March 19, 2011, in Barre.
He started out working for lifelong friend Domenic Falzarano, worked many years for Valley Rent-All in Waitsfield, and Cabot Hosiery in Northfield as a machine technician. He will also be fondly remembered for his work at Tuck's Repair in Northfield.
Josh enjoyed hunting, ice fishing, riding his motorcycle and helping his friends and family with whatever needed doing.
Survivors include his mother, Deborah Evans, of Northfield; his loving wife, Jessica Amell, of Northfield; two children, Kayla and Charlie Evans, of Northfield; three uncles, Donald Evans, Arthur Evans, Raymond Gray; close nieces and nephews Abby, Ryan, Seanna, Nadia, Evan, Brooklyn, Parker; sisters and brothers in-law, Sarah and Jason Estes, William Amell, Logan Amell, Riley O'Connor; father in-law William Amell; mother in-law Elizabeth O'Connor; and lifelong best friend, Guy Dupere.
He was predeceased by his father, Robert Evans.
In keeping with Josh's wishes, there are no calling hours. The family would like to invite all who cared about him to a dinner and celebration of life, Friday, Dec. 23, from 4-7 p.m. at the Sorrell Maynard American Legion Post on Depot Square in Northfield. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to assist Josh's children, Kayla and Charlie Evans, c/o Merchants Bank, 70 Depot Square, in Northfield. Kingston Funeral Home in Northfield is assisting with the arrangements.

Words cannot explain how deeply sorry I am Jess and family. The saying is everything happens for a reason but in this case I do not agree with it. Josh was taken way too soon. He is not in any more pain is the best way to look at it. He will indeed be missed by many. My prayers and thoughts with you all.
