Louise Bashaw Obituary
She was born Jan. 14, 1938, in Lancaster, N.H., the daughter of Kenneth and Margaret (Hutchinson) Nunn. She graduated high school from the Peacham Academy.
On Dec. 26, 1959, she married Edward Duke. He died May 31, 1980. She later married Henry Bashaw who also predeceased her. She had made her home in Marshfield until moving to the Mayo Healthcare.
She was a homemaker.
Survivors include two sons, Ronald Duke and Stephen Duke, both of Marshfield; a daughter, Darlene Rouleau of Williamstown; seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; four sisters, Katherine Hooker of Walden, Lois Burnham of Marshfield, Juanita Nunn of East Calais, and Evelyn Larcomb of Danville; four brothers, Melvin Nunn of Groton, Raymond Nunn and James Nunn, both of Morrisville, and Theodore Nunn of Barre; several nieces and nephews.
Her granddaughter predeceased her.
Family and friends may call on Thursday, Dec. 8, 2011, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Hooker and Whitcomb Funeral Home, 7 Academy St., Barre. Entombment will take place in the Hooker and Whitcomb Vault to await a graveside service in the Eaton Cemetery in Marshfield in the spring.
Contributions in her memory may be made to the American Cancer Society, 120 Connor Way, #240, Williston, VT 05495.

I am so sad to hear of Skips passing. She was my second Mom growing up. Every year for my birthday she gave me her homemade pickles and mom did not make me share them. She is whole again and with Eddie. I so loved them both. Darlene, Ronny. And Stephen you are in my thoughts.
