Phyllis Dailey Obituary

SOUTH WOODBURY - Phyllis Marie Dailey, 69, died Monday, Aprlil 16, 2018, in her home with family at her bedside.
She was born March 27, 1949, in Hardwick, the daughter of Leon and Pearline (Martin) Hayford.
She graduated in 1967 from Williamstown High School.
On April 1, 1967, she married Lloyd Arnold Dailey in Craftsbury Common.
Mrs. Dailey stayed at home to care for her children. She was also employed by several businesses and schools, including Woodbury School, day care and preschool at South Woodbury Church, Berlin Convalescent Center, did private care for the elderly, and worked for Ames Department Store in Morrisville, the Woodbury Store and a Montpelier convenience store.
She enjoyed sewing, quilting, crocheting and watching the Hardwick Main Street evening traffic.
Survivors include a son, Walter Dailey, of Cabot; three daughters, Terri Nunn, of Cabot, Tracey Dailey, of Barre, Teresa Clark, of Hardwick; a brother, Norman Hayford, of Florida; nine grandchildren, five great-grandchildren; as well as nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was predeceased by her husband Feb. 18, 2017, an infant son and a sister, Crystal Hayford.
Private graveside services will be held at the convenience of family.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Central Vermont Home Health & Hospice, 600 Granger Rd., Barre, VT 05641.
Arrangements are by Northern Vermont Funeral Service, Hardwick.
