I met Stephanie, Mayson, and Joe when Joe and my son Eliott were on the same baseball team. Stephanie was such a sweetheart. So friendly and buoyant. I really liked her a lot. Then, in highschool, Silver Creek, she was the driving force behind Dancing With the Stars. I did some volunteering there and was so happy to be in Stephanie's dynamic, positive, and inclusive presence once again. And the show was fabulous! I apologize for not knowing of her passing until now. Recently at Silver Creek I had the good fortune of popping in at the Day of Champions event that Joe was leading. It was obviously a huge success! Those kids were having a blast! Even though Stephanie is no longer here in body, I am certain she is with her children in spirit everyday. And I am sure she is so proud of the adults they are becoming. I am. With love and condolences, Katy Cassidy.

I had the pleasure of studying with Stephanie at Judlyn Maupin's School of Dance. She mentored me, and gave me the much needed self confidence at such a young and impressionable age, and contributed to my love of dance and being on stage performing. The last dance we did together was when I attended Niwot High School. Unforgettable memories dancing with her. She was such a positive person, and touched so many lives.

I took tap-lessons from Stephanie on a whim in middle school, and continued taking classes with her for 7 years all the way through highschool because she was such an amazing teacher. She made a very positive impact on a challenging period in my life and I am very greatful for her influence. My heart goes out to her family. She will be missed.

My first memories of Stephanie are when I was around 8 and so Stephanie was probably around 12. I remember staying the night at Megan's house on many occasions and laying under the pool table outside of the dance studio and watching Steph dance. That she actually practiced dancing, had tap shoes, dance routines, that she looked so beautiful and that I admired her knowing how to do something That she knew how to dance to the "Pointer Sisters!" and I would listen to her sing when she would walk around their house and how her beautiful voice would sound in their round, tall ceilings on Ouray drive. She May have just been walking back to her bedroom, but she would often sing and still to this day I remember that. I remember being with the Roth's to pick Stephanie up from the Grange after dance a lot! I remember over hearing Dennis telling her he believed in her when just the two of them were in the front seats (of the land cruiser) and I was riding in the back. That Stephanie always had short hair and was so beautiful. Stephanie truly had passion and dedication all of her life.

You will never be forgotten Thanks for all the love you showed my daughter Talia. she is a beautiful dancer and loved her Grace Studio Family. You will be dearly missed. I told Talia that when she is dancing and feels an extra twirl in her dance, it is you.

Stephanie, you will be incredibly missed, I cannot express to the family how sorry I am for this tremendous loss! You were an inspiration to so many. The love and happiness you shared with so many will never be forgotten. I will always remember your bright smiling face from the first moment I met you way back in Jr high. You were always a bright spot in my life when others tried to knock me down. The world has truly lost a wonderful person, but heaven has gained a bright and beautiful angel!

We offer our deepest sympathy to Stephanie's entire family and to Christy. Once upon a time Stephanie and I had a great friendship. When Lacey had to choose between dance and basketball, it was a sad time.
She never stopped yearning to be at Grace Studios, nor did Charlie & I and our boys.
Recently, Stephanie and I had found time to reconnect and I'm so thankful for that! I have those texts, and her messages over Fb and I treasure them.
We LOVED Stephanie and we know the hole in all of your hearts is deep. We are grieving with you and for you! The world will never be the same without her, but heaven just received one of God's Best! Her laughter will forever be in my memory.
With love and sympathy,
Elaine Henry and family

What an amazing person and what a remarkable life. I feel so blessed that we became a part of the GSSD family in June. In that short time, Stephanie made such an impact on my daughter/s and me as a parent. We are praying that you'll find comfort in your memories of Stephanie and in the knowledge that others are deeply missing her, too.
