Harry Parrish Obituary
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Harry Franklin "Frank" Parrish Sr., who died Wednesday, March 5, 2025, at the farmhouse in Talking Rock.
He was born Oct. 4, 1931, in Easley, S.C. He was a State Farm agent for more than 42 years, a Korean War era Navy veteran and enjoyed woodworking, gardening, listening to music and spending time with grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He is survived by wife, Shirley C. Parrish; daughter, Julia Parrish Burns and husband, Jerry Burns; granddaughter, Laura Burns Person; grandsons, Philip Burns, Joseph Burns, Brian Zimmerman and Blake Zimmerman; son, Harry F. Parrish Jr.; daughter-in-law, Connie Z. Parrish; brother, Marion Parrish; sisters-in-law, Jane Parrish, Marion Bishop and Barbara Lusk Parrish; brothers-in-law, Gene Bishop and Lamar Coleman; and 11 great-grandchildren who affectionately knew him as "Pa."
He is preceded in death by mother, Harriet Christine Few Parrish; father, Hugh Franklin Parrish; sister, Harriet Anne Parrish; and brother, Richard Joseph Parrish.

A celebration of life will be held at Cedarhurst Assisted Living Center in Canton, Saturday, June 21, 2025, at 2 p.m.
