Elizabeth and Mary Lou,
Please know our thoughts are with you on this sad day. Your mother was a special person. You have been great daughters during the winter of her life.

Elizabeth and Mary Lou, I will always remember when you and my children were little, and Dorothy and I would meet and talk. We had many pleasant trips from Virginia to North Carolina together to visit all of you. I will miss her. Love to you all.

Elizabeth and Mary Lou, I know your hearts are at rest now, knowing that your mama is finally at peace. She has had a long and hard struggle. I will remember her as she was, full of life, and always smiling. Love you both.

Elizabeth and Bobby, I know how much your mother was loved and how much she will be missed. My prayers are with you. Although many years have passed since I last saw or spoke with her, I have never forgotten how sweet she was.
