Today is always the most painful day of the year for me. It is hard to believe that 11 years has passed...as it all still feels like it happened yesterday. Hi Adam this is Rick Moore, a former co-worker at Proctor Silex with your mother. I enjoyed the time we spent together. Teaching you karate was something i will never forget. You were a quick learner and you made the sessions we had memorable. My thoughts and prayers will always be with you. I love you and always will.

Not sure why I thought of you today, its been a long time; but just wanted to let you know you will never be forgotten. I had the pleasure of getting to know you most of my senior year at Hermitage. You introduced me to sushi (lol) and you'd be proud to hear its actually one of my favorite foods now. You made my spring break an unforgettable memory! You sat patiently in the stands until I was done cheerleading just so we could go out and have some fun! You made sure I wasn't forgotten on Valentines Day. You inpacted my life in ways you will never know and you will always hold a place close to my heart. I miss you Adam :)

I remember Adam when he was an adorable little boy who was as cute as he could be back when he would come to our volleyball and basketball games. Even when we went to church camp at Rio Grande. I recently found out about what happened almost 3 1/2 years ago. I was friends with Adam at Hermitage High school and was a year or two ahead of him. He lived in my neighborhood and was really good friends with my sister who was in his grade. I remember Adam as a fun loving guy and we shared many laughs. You will be missed my friend.

We have had Blaze over alot to do family outtings and activities with us. He is getting ready to start 2nd grade and did great in 1st grade! He misses you deeply, but we do talk and LAUGH about you alot! And he has his scrap book I made for him last x-mas of you and him to look at when he is sad.
I am sure you know I visit you regulary and miss you very much!

To Adam's family: I am so very sorry to hear about your loss. Honestly, after reading this, I'm in shock. I went to high school with Adam and we were in ROTC together. He was a great guy and loved to joke around. I can remember the trip we took to Quantico, was awesome. My family has also suffered some great losses and I want you to know that they are all still with us...and one day we will be with them again. This time for an eternity. God bless and take care.

Wanted to let you know that things are going good. We just had Ryan's 4th B-day and Blaze came and had a great time. He is swimming very good now and it's all because he knew you were a lifeguard.
He is doing good in school and we talk about you all the time with him.

I had the plesure of meeting adam through a friend and was shocked when i heard of his sudden tragedy. My cousin was taken from me a year ago and i was visiting her guest book and wanted to let his family know that i am very sorry and you are in my prayers. Adam was a very funny guy and i am glad i had the pleasure of meeting him.

Today marks a year gone by and there hasn't been a day that I have not thought about you since you left us. Good news, Dusty and Blaze moved into our neightborhood and Caitlin & Ryan will be going to school with him this year! I am sure you had something to do with that and I wanted to thank you!!!

My dear Adam,my baby boy-a year ago today was the last time we laughed, hugged and the normal bickering, like how to cook corn on the cob. As you all know, tomorrow is July 14, 2004 - it will be exactly a year since my brother passed. In honor and memory of Adam - we will be meeting tomorrow at 3:00pm at the Hollywood Cemetery (Idlewood Section) to finally lay Adam to rest...we never had a chance to do this last year as it was so unexpected. This is an invitation for you to join us (if possible) - and if not, then to at least let you know where you can go to visit Adam's final resting place when you find the time. - Rain or shine...I hope to see you there.

I told everyone about you driving the riding mower up the jungle gym after you ran it into the tree! HAHAHAHA

Thank you for bringing Blaze into our lives. He had a wonderful day playing with Caitlin and Ryan at our house. He kept looking at me with those powerful eyes as he played and laughed, but there were those moments when I knew it wasn't him looking at me any longer..........it was you.

There were times when we both got a little tired of each other and times when maybe we couldn't deal with each other . . . I miss that so much. I miss having someone to call when I want to talk. You are who I should be comforted by right now and it hurts to know you can't. I love you so much. I know you are happy where you are and I want you to know I think about you all the time, more than I ever could imagine I would think about one person. Know that I love you and I hope you will wait for me wherever you are. Because you know the first question I will ask is "Did you kiss anyone."

Still hard to believe that you are gone bro - what happened? I am still waiting for you to come home and cook me some of your new recipes and burn the kitchen down...you had so many hidden talents - I knew them all - too bad that you were taken so suddenly and will not have a chance to share all your talents with the rest of the world. I know that you were and are still surrounded by those you loved and those who loved you. You always had a special gift of selecting friends that truly thought that world of you - as did I. I miss so much that words can not express my pain and sorrow... it has been like a telephone call that has been disconnected and I really never had a chance to say good-bye. I think of you everyday, everynight and have tried to keep myself together for mom's sake - but, this has been hard bro. I will continue to stay strong for you - and vow to never miss any of the Ohio State games in your honor. I will wear your jersey #32 with pride and save you a seat right beside me! I knew the first night Adam and I met that we would be friends forever. Everyone we were with that evening did not want to do what we wanted to do and we sat on his back deck many hours after the sun came up talking about things that life long friends talk about. I did feel like he was a life long friend. It was funny to think I had met him only a few hours before. "Adam, you are truely one of a kind and I will always miss you."

Caitlin talks about your silly antics with her and Chris and I recently laughed again about your fashion show you put on a couple years ago with mom's clothes. I think daily of all of the funny things we did growing up...feeding you rocks, painting your finger nails when you were asleep, playing hid and go seek with you and telling you no one could leave the house when playing.....then Kim and I sneaking out of your bedroom window anyway!!!! I could go on and on, but I just wanted to remind you how much I loved you and will miss you, but will never forget you.
Blaze will be spending a lot time with us and Caitlin and Ryan and he will always know what a great daddy you were.

Just finished reading the beautiful tribute to Adam...he is truly blessed to have such a wonderful family and friends! Innsbrook volleyball won't be the same without him -- I'll miss him "taking me off my feet" while he runs after a stray ball!

Words are very hard to come by at this point when trying to find a way express not having my "boy" here.I certainly will miss the loudest guy on my basketball team, but moreover I will miss hearing the sunshine in that loud voice and knowing that he is right there.... shooting and talking to much.My friend will be missed. I had the pleasure to meet Adam while playing volleyball with him on the Hamilton Beach/Proctor Silex Teams. I was a friend of Adam's from middle school who happened to run into him a week before his birthday. A group of us had gone out together the Saturday night before his accident. This was all very hard to take in when I had found out about this tragedy on Tuesday considering I was just with him. I want to express my deepest condolences and you all are in my thoughts and prayers. To Adam's mother....I wanted to take a minute to let you know that Adam had mentioned you on Saturday night. He had said that growing up you were the only one who looked out for him and if it had not been for you he doesnt know where he would have been. He expressed a lot of love when mentioning you.

I had the pleasure of working wtih Adam for the two past summers. The kids at the WMCI pools loved him very much and they all looked up to him. He is a wonderful person and he will be missed by many. I knew that I could always count on Adam for a smile or a laugh. He had a way of bringing out the best in everyone that he met. We all love him and miss him a great deal. Dusty Cliborne is my best friend. I have been with her and her son Blaze through thick and thin. Adam and I spoke on more than one occasion of his love for his son. Blaze is a part of Adam, and through him, Adam's spirit flows. After I learned of Adam's passing, I turned off all the lights in my room and prayed for him as I drifted off to sleep. When I woke up, my desk lamp had "turned itself" on mysteriously. I believe it was Adam telling me not to worry, that he was just fine. Peace and blessings to all of his family and friends.

A true Buckeye fan is gone. The entire Ohio State University community in central Virginia mourns the loss of one of its biggest fans.
Adam had scarlet and gray blood running through his body. He loved Ohio State. You could tell when he watched the Buckeyes play. His enthusiasm was contagious. We will miss # 32.
