Adice Waymack Obituary

Adice Murphey Waymack, passed away October 16, 2003 at the age of 80. She was instrumental in establishing a pilot program for Reach to Recovery in Richmond and honored by Averett College and VCU as a outstanding alumna. Mrs. Waymack was the daughter of the late Thomas Woodfin (Pat) Murphey and Mary Harper Murphey of Colonial Heights and was the widow of Walter A. Waymack, Jr. She is survived by her daughter, Janice Waymack Brasted; her son, Walter E. Waymack, III and his wife, Jill; her brother, Ret. Col. James Malcolm Murphey and his wife, Josephine; her sister-in-law, Evelyn Goyne Murphey wife of the late Judge Douglas Woodfin (Pat) Murphey. A memorial service will be held 3 p.m. Sunday, October 19 at Cedarfield Retirement Community.
