Alan was my cousin, and I had not seen him for a long time. I had hoped to see him at the recent reunion, but because of the Storm a lot of the family did not make it.When ever I think of Alan I think of what he said about my Daddy coming across the field, He looked out of the window, and said Here comes "PDR" what that meant we will never know, but everyone just cracked up with laughter. Our son Dennis said he always looked forward to going over the Grover's house to play Basketball with Jerry and Alan.
Our Deepest Sympathy to all the family.

Alan Elliott was truly a wonderful, good, good person and my life has been enriched by knowing such an extraordinary individual. I work for the Industrial Development Authority of Louisa County and had the priviledge to work with Alan the entire time that he owned and operated Louisa Printing. He was not only a tremendous help to me professionally but became a very good friend over the years. I will forever remember his happy disposition, positive outlook, zest for life and that contagious laugh. I'll also always remember his patience and always going that extra mile to please his customers. Alan & I use to laugh and laugh at some of the outrageous requests that his customers would make of him. He will be sorely missed by many in our community.

When Alan and Brother were children, Brother called Alan "Boo." Naturally I called him "Boo" too. When we were in high school, Alan asked me not to call him "Boo" anymore, guess we had gotten too old for such a childish nickname. Without fail, whenever we saw each other over the years, I would always call him "Boo" at least one time and we always had a laugh over it.
