Dear Joseph, Lisa & Drew,

Lexi was a delight to see every day when I would drop off and pick up Emily at Westhampton Day School. Whenever Emily was having a hard time leaving me in the morning, I turned to Lexi. She would open her arms and gather my child to her and whisper sweet words of encouragement. I loved her for this and not long after meeting her became one of the lucky recipients of her many hugs. Lexi made me (Karen) feel loved and cherished and after reading many of these entries I now understand she had a special gift of love. We miss her greatly and speak of her often. I do not understand why she is gone but I must believe that God saw how special she was and had a job for her to do in heaven. Nonetheless, we wish she was still here. We will continue to pray for your family.

Love,

Dear Lisa, Joseph, and sweet Drew,

With something like this words don't come easily and we all have our own ways of getting through. I wrote something for you that I thought would be better enjoyed by everyone.

They say a memory you will always hold tight,

But there is no need with a soul this bright.

The memory of a child this sweet and kind

Is something you can never leave behind.

With a smile that would change your day

Lexi is so special in every way.

She has touched the people she has met,

And for that I shall forever be in her debt.

She showed me how truly sweet a child can be,

And what an angel looks like standing next to me.

Her memory will never fade or slip away.

Not the memory of the angel she was and is today.

Your sweet Lexi will never be forgotten and you all truly have your own sweet guardian angel.

With all my heart and prayers,

Ms. Mary, WHDS

Dear Joe, Lisa and Drew

Lexi, an angel on earth, is now home where she belongs. Although she is not here physically I know that she is watching over us now. There are no words that can ease the pain of losing someone so full of life and so dear to all of us, but PLEASE know that all of you are in my prayers and thoughts. The first question is to ask why, but we all have to understand that only one person knows the answer to that question and that she is in a better place watching over all that loved her.

Joe, Lisa and Drew you are part of my family and my prayers, strength and love are here whenever you need me.

Lexi was the "Manager" of the 4 year old class that I was supposedly in charge of - but truly it was her that all the children followed. Her caring and leadership for all the children in our class was wonderful to watch, and I know that in Heaven she is wearing purple and pink and a princess crown. Lexi agreed to be the Fairy Godmother in our Spring play, after much compromising and discussion, since she would be wearing wings. I'm sure that she is wearing her wings now, as well as her halo, and is in the peace and presence of our Lord.
