Alvin C. Scott Sr., 71, of Charles City County, VA, passed away on June 29, 2025. He is remembered by his loving wife Joyce and his mother, Josephine. He also leaves behind 3 children, 10 grandchildren, and 3 great-grandchildren. A funeral service will be held at Little Elam Baptist Church on July 11, 2025, at 12:00 p.m. Services entrusted to Wilson & Associates.

I knew Alvin for two years when I worked as a training administrator at Sonoco in the early 2000s. He was always friendly, jovial, professional, and he took immense pride in his appearance. I was impressed because he always looked crisp and clean while working in a factory! He will always be fondly remembered.
