Audrey,

My love, thoughts, and prayers to you at this time as you grieve your way through every mother's greatest nightmare.

Andre was a student I will always remember because of his beautiful manners and dogged determination to do his best. He was a joy to have in class. That is largely attributable to "good home training" by you. Neither of you ever made excuses for him, so he knew to always do what was asked or expected, even if it seemed hard for him.

I am thankful that he got to pursue his dream and become a law enforcement officer. I know he was one of the best there, too.

I love you and miss you at LP. May God's Spirit surround you with the comfort that only one who has lost a son can share.

I will never forget my friend and student. Andre was a true blessing to teach. I remember his smile, his sense of humor, and his dedication to others. I am blessed by knowing him for all of the years I have known him. He gave much more to the world than he took from it.

Andre was a fine example to young men everywhere. I remember the day he was accepted for Henrico County. No young man could have been more proud or honored or humbled than Andre. The world will truly miss him.

Audrey, rest assured that I am with you in spirit and in thoughts even though I cannot be with you in body. If you need anything, please feel free to call me when you come home.

I am a parent of a communications officer in Henrico County. I have

prayed for you, and will continue to

do so. I understand that Booker was

very well thought of and the County

is suffering the loss along with you. My child is also an only child.

I have no idea how your hearts are

holding this loss. I know that the

loss of any child, is one that is

the toughest of all losses. Your only ..I can't imagine.

I am a retired teacher, and have lost children I have taught. Last

spring, 2 young men died in auto

accidents, one 18, one 21.

I grieve with you, will pray along with you.
