Andrew Blair Johnson
JOHNSON, Andrew Blair, 91, of North Chesterfield, died January 8, 2021. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Mabel F. Johnson. Surviving are his wife, Marie Goodman Johnson; three daughters, Maureen Johnson, Darlene Hinton and Kelly Williams; son, Andrew Johnson Jr.; seven grandchildren, devoted, Lolita Hinton; 16 great-grandchildren, seven great-great-grandchildren; brother, Bernard Johnson (Mildred); other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Scott's Funeral Home, 115 E. Brookland Park Blvd., where viewing will be held Thursday, January 14, from 10 a.m. until 7 p.m. A private funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Friday, January 15, at Scott's Chapel, 116 E. Brookland Park Blvd. Rev. Dr. Dwight C. Jones officiating. Interment Maury Cemetery. Livestreaming and online guestbook at www.scottsfuneralhome.com.

It is with sincere sympathy to hear of the passing of Deacon Johnson. Deacon Johnson and Mrs. Mabel were once my neighbors and also Deacon Johnson was a member of my lifelong church First Baptist of South Richmond. Prayers go out to Mrs. Marie who I all ways call my godmother and to the family. Deacon Johnson you will be missed by so many. To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. Family, may God give each of you peace that surpasses all understanding. Rest on Deacon Johnson, rest on!
