Anita Massey "Nickie" Kelly

Anita "Nickie" Massey Kelly, 65, of Richmond, entered into eternal rest on Friday, May 5, 2006. She is survived by her husband of 42 years, Mr. Forrest Leon Kelly; two daughters, Kimberly Kelly Fernandez and husband, Brian D. Fernandez, Staff Sergeant, U.S. Army of Ft. Campbell, Kentucky, and Garnett Kelly Blackwell and husband, Matthew Blackwell, Richmond; one sister, Ms. Garnett Carol Sloope, Richmond; four granddaughters, Misses Chelsea Blackwell, Amber Blackwell, Courtney Fernandez and Zoe Blackwell; one grandson, Bryce Fernandez; one niece, Ms. Kendall Sloope; one nephew, Michael Ray Sloope and his fiancee', Jessica Thompson; two great-nephews, Daman Sloope and A.J. Grant. Mrs. Kelly will be remembered by her family and many, many friends for her generosity, selflessness and loving devotion. She strived to improve the lives of everyone she knew. Her remains rest at the Bliley Funeral Homes' Chippenham Chapel, 6900 Hull Street Rd., where the family will receive friends Sunday, May 7, and Monday, May 8, from 6 to 8 p.m., and where funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Tuesday, May 9, 2006. Interment Forest Lawn Cemetery.
